Cuppycakes is a dream 20 years in the making! For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for a career in child
care. It has become my life’s work to help children grow and develop to
their full potential. Throughout my 20+ years of experience I have  worked as a preschool teacher, after-school program director, day-camp
coordinator, special recreation counselor, tutor, DCFS foster care case
manager and Nanny.

When I was 18 I had my first job at a preschool. I very quickly realized I was an out of the box thinker and did things very differently than the other teachers. I wasn’t afraid to make a mess with the kids. I found it beneficial to work with the children in small groups and one on one. Since then I have created a self esteem and mindfulness program and carefully curated a preschool curriculum. I am excited to have found and selected teachers that also think outside the box to guide the children to being their best selves.  Welcome to Cuppycakes!
